Solar system to heat a shed and save power?
Hello,
This is a rather unusual request but I trust that some D.I.Y experts might come up with a solution to my query.
I have a small wooden garden shed, poorly insulated, that I wish to use as a photo studio. I wish to find a way to keep it at a non-freezing temperature during the day without the need of using any electrical power.
Is there any device that I could order on internet or find locally in shops that would allow me to heat this small area (≈ 4 cubic meter) with a small solar panel and heating device?
The ideal would be a system that would accumulate enough energy to keep the place from freezing as well during the night.
Maybe a dream.

I think you could do what you desire if you built it properly from scratch, but YOUR building will require substantial upgrading, possibly more than is worth. I've seen many DIY plants on the internet for solar panels that mount on your south-facing walls and provide warmth to the interior, so that part is readily do-able. But your building is going to have to be insulated well first. And, if you want to store heat for awhile, you need to give this building some thermal mass so it can do that. Many people build solar-heated structures over a concrete slab that is well insulated underneath and on the sides with a special foam insulation made for direct burial, and this is one way to give somewhere for the warmth to go and then store that warmth for awhile, too. Another method is lots of jugs of water inside your building. Most people don't like to give up that much of their interior space to stored water, though. Of course, these are only one persons opinions, you should get others.
